What is Parallel Skills Society?

We redifne the education of soft skills for tech talents. We call them The Parallel Skills. It’s not another bootcamp. It’s not a Figma course. It’s not a place for technical seekers. PSS is a society. A black-and-white space where tech professionals (starting with UX designers) practice the skills that actually move careers: communication, presence, confidence, self-awareness. It’s not about collecting badges. It’s about seeing the skills you already have, and learning to use them in parallel to deliver value beyond your job title.

Who leads this society?

It’s me. Ahmad Ramadan. I’m not a celebrity. I’m not the guy with 1M followers selling you a shiny course. I’m a UX design lead at Rakuten Mobile Japan, a product builder, and a father of three Kids. I’ve been a petroleum engineer, an agency designer, a startup product designer, and now I work inside one of the fastest corporate machines in the world. I know what it feels like to: Be invisible in meetings even when your work is solid. Burn years chasing “hard skills” while the real bottleneck is communication. Get stuck between titles, ranks, and expectations. Question whether you’re building a career or just burning time. That’s why I built Parallel Skills Society. Not to teach you Figma. Not to hand you tricks. But to create a black-and-white space where we sharpen the skills no one talks about—soft, parallel, invisible skills that actually move your career. I lead this society by being in it with you. Not above you.

Why should you trust Ahmad Ramadan?

You shouldn’t. Trust the frameworks. Trust the principles. Trust the other members who walked in, vulnerable and raw, and walked out sharper, bolder, and more confident. The only guarantee here is practice, not promises.

What you will get inside the society?

Think of Parallel Skills Society like a social club. You pay a monthly or annual fee. Not for hype, but for entry. Once you’re inside, here’s what you get as basic benefits: A monthly long live session where we go deep, not wide. Access to peers who will push you harder than your manager ever will. A black-and-white space where we practice soft skills with brutal honesty. Belonging. Accountability. Network. That’s the foundation. But here’s the twist. Just like a real club, there are member-only products inside: exclusive workshops, tools, and frameworks created for PSS members only. These are sold outside for full price, but you get them at heavily discounted rates because you’re part of the society. So your membership isn’t just a ticket to community. It’s leverage. You pay once, and you open the door to an ecosystem that keeps producing value for insiders.

Why should you join?

You shouldn’t. Unless you feel that your growth has stalled, not because of lack of hard skills, but because of invisible gaps: Struggling to communicate ideas clearly. Not being seen in meetings. Getting judged by rank instead of results. Feeling you’re “good” but not recognized. If these hit you, you belong here. If they don’t, you’ll be wasting your money.

Who is this not for?

Not everyone belongs here. And that’s the point. This society is not for: Idea-takers → people who join only to copy without giving back. Toxic energy → members who bring drama, blame, or constant complaints. Passive observers → those who never engage, share, or support peers. Shortcut seekers → hunting for quick hacks instead of building lasting skills. Status chasers → caring more about titles, clout, or appearances than growth. Closed-minded individuals → unwilling to learn, receive feedback, or adapt. Purely technical seekers → people looking for Figma tricks, UI kits, or design tutorials only.

How does members selection work?

Not everyone gets in. And that’s intentional. We review every application carefully based on two essentials: Fit with the society → alignment with our principles, vision, and community spirit. Quality of submission → clarity of thought, authenticity, and contribution potential. It’s not about fancy portfolios. It’s about whether you belong here, and whether you’ll add to the circle—not drain it. The Wave System We open membership in waves, not all the time. Wave One → opens September 2025 (max). Next wave → six months later. Each wave has a limited window to join. Once the doors close, they stay closed until the next wave. If you miss a wave, you can always apply to the waiting list. Your spot is safe, but you’ll only get in when the next wave opens. This keeps the society small, intentional, and protected. We grow carefully, not endlessly.

What are the benefits of being in the First Wave?

Wave 01 is the founders’ wave. It’s not for everyone. it’s for the early adapters. The ones who believe in the vision even when it’s still blurry. The ones who stand behind the mission even when it sounds unrealistic. The ones who choose to build, not just consume. Here’s what you get if you join Wave 01: Discounts on your annual or monthly subscription. 100% free access to selected products launched inside, as long as you’re in. Future offline meetups exclusive to Wave 01 members only. Recognition as a founding member of the society. A permanent mark in the culture of PSS. You’re not just joining, you’re shaping it. And there’s more we won’t even write here. Because some benefits will only make sense when you’re inside. Wave 01 isn’t about perks. It’s about belonging to the first circle that built the society from zero.

How do you leave the society if it’s not as expected?

Honestly, it’s not likely. We’ve designed the selection process to make sure only the right people walk in. But if you feel this isn’t for you, leaving is simple: You request it. We accept. No questions asked. Anytime. When you leave, the doors don’t close forever. You can always join the waiting list and wait for a second chance in a future wave. We don’t trap people. We only want members who want to be here.
